Floral Geometry
These paintings are an exploration of balance. By using hard edge geomentry that cuts through the soft flowers, the guaches become symbols for the need of modern life and nature to coexist. They are about hard and soft, technology's intrusion on mother earth, the classic ying and yang. I am searching like all of us in our lives to take disparate elements, balance them, and make them a cohesive whole.
